Capturing motion on tape is always a tricky one and unless you have the HD camera ready (the best snowboarding film in the world will testify to that-THAT’S IT THAT’S ALL but this guy has gone and done so with just a plain old camera. It’s so difficult to grasp the depth and height the guy achieves but it still looks and feels pretty awesome. check it now.

Today I happened to by chance stumble upon this article written by The Sun <http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3013728/Dad-dangles-tot-over-lucky-croc.html> which is all about Sheedi devotees seeking blessings for their children by dangling their children over the mouths of crocodiles and it got me thinking about some of the traditions held around the globe and how we are all different {as Michael Gambon never fails to remind us in the HSBC adverts.}

The ancient animals are given chunks of fresh goat to munch on.

If the crocodiles eat the meat it is a sign of good luck — and they feel free to goad the animals with their own flesh and blood believing that, as the disciples of the saint Khwaja Hasan, they won’t attack.

Now this would seem a pretty bold move but I am fairly sure i wouldn’t attack if I had just tucked into a tasty leg of goat. Perhaps they should try tempting the croc before giving it the goat and see how hungry it is before hand? Interesting and so highly fascinating all the same.

Ok so it’s been a while since i have properly blogged but i think its been even long since i actually purchased an iPhone app that wasn’t in the ‘free’ section of the application store. So last night was a first for a while but a purchase did happen…

I have been waiting on this application for a couple months and despite the fact you have to play with the sound off (the successful noise is incredibly irritating) it is an awesome game that follows suit to the EBOY posters and artwork.

As with most things these days the required link to facebook and other social networking sites was included but this is merely because we can’t do anything without sharing it to the world. But don’t let that fool you. This application is great and despite being £1.19 which is arguable a little steep for just 100 images, hopefully more pix will follow on the updates for me to fix.

Digital NOS Energy Drink Campaign to encourage Drag car racing fans to engage with the brand on a much closer level.

NOS Energy Drinks wish to engage with a younger male audience on a stronger level and to increase product awareness in the drag race market.

Therefore, we suggest the following digital campaign:

Buying a bottle of NOS Energy drink needs to be special, espeically if the brand wants to increase product awareness. Through this we created NOS: THE FINAL RACE.
The idea was to create a purely digital world where NOS drinkers could register and upload a personal image they wanted to see on the NOS drag race car in the final race of the season.

By going to the brands website and holding your bottle upto your webcam you are immediately transported into the live design microsite. Here you can register before uploading personal photographs or possibley even messages to the hub that will be eventually sprayed onto the car, albeit very small. For example:

1 bottle=1 pixel
10 bottles=20 pixels

The more bottles the consumer buys, the more pixels they can generate for their image and thus increase the chance of it being seen. It is important to give absolute power back to the consumer which is why they can choose exactly where they want their image to go on the final car.

Through this digital campaign NOS can increase awareness whilst also create a stronger relationship with their consumer.

Seeding
Special one off bottles will also hold unique codes allowing the participator pixels for free as a further incentive to buy into the brand.
In order for word to spread about the new service NOS are offering, once you had uploaded your picture you would be able to send friends updated photographs of where you are on the car as a digital postcard.
The participator would also be able to print off a personl augmented reality version of the car which they could interactive with on their desk, further enphasising the interactive content of the brand.
In order to increase public awareness even further we created a web banner which allowed the audience to take a photo of themselves and upload it to a representative drag race car there and then before encouraging them to do it officially.
